A plain account of how these pieces are presented and what happens after a request.

The sequence

Browse
Each piece is presented with the characteristics supported by the documentation supplied for it — weight, colour, clarity, composition and the laboratory reports referenced. Nothing beyond that documentation is stated.

Shortlist
Pieces can be gathered into a shortlist held only in your browser tab for the length of your visit. It stores references to pieces and nothing else, and is cleared when the tab closes.

Qualified request
A short form records who you are, the country you are writing from, whether you act as buyer or representative, and whether you would like the private dossier or a viewing. You receive a reference number when it is submitted.

Private review
Requests are reviewed privately and answered selectively. Not every request receives documentation, and no timeline is promised.

Documentation and viewing
Where a request proceeds, full documentation and any viewing arrangements are confirmed privately and directly, outside this website.

Are prices shown?: No. Prices are not published on this website and are discussed privately where a request proceeds.
Why do some pieces show a typographic plate instead of a photograph?: Because no photograph was supplied for that piece. The plate states this plainly and shows the documented folio, category and weight instead. No imagery is generated, retouched or substituted.
Why does nothing play automatically?: Video is never auto-played. Poster frames are shown and playback begins only when you choose it, so visitors who prefer reduced motion receive none.
Is my shortlist stored on a server?: No. It lives in your browser tab only, holds references to pieces and no personal details, and is cleared when the tab is closed. Nothing is transmitted until you submit the form.
What information should I not send?: Do not send confidential ownership records, financial documents, identity documents or physical-location details through the form. Those matters are handled privately.
Are these pages indexed by search engines?: No. Every private-offering page asks search engines not to index, archive or snippet it, and none of them appear in the sitemap.
Will I receive marketing email?: No. Details submitted through the private-offering form are used only to review and answer that request.
